How to check your exact Age Pension payment date

💻 1. myGov — my.gov.au
Sign in to your myGov account at my.gov.au and select the Centrelink tile. Under “Payments and claims” then “Payment history”, you can view your next scheduled direct deposit dates, the net amount of each fortnightly payment, any deductions applied and a complete history of previous bank account credits. You can also confirm or update your nominated bank account details from the same dashboard.
If you do not yet have a myGov account, create one for free at my.gov.au and link it to your Centrelink record. This gives you full access to all your payment information and allows you to manage your banking details, report income and update your personal information online at any time.

📱 2. Express Plus Centrelink app
Download the free Express Plus Centrelink app from the App Store (iPhone) or Google Play (Android). After signing in with your myGov credentials, navigate to “Payments” to view:
- Your next fortnightly direct deposit date and amount
- Your recent payment history a bank account credits
- The BSB number a account number registered for your payments
- Any deductions, supplements or add-ons included in your pension payment
- Option to update your banking details directly within the app
Tip: enable push notifications in the app so you receive an alert on your phone each time your Age Pension is credited to your bank account, eliminating the need to check your balance manually every fortnight.
📞 3. Centrelink older Australians line — 132 300
Call 132 300 from anywhere in Australia, Monday to Friday during business hours. A Centrelink representative can confirm your next fortnightly payment date, the amount of your Age Pension and the bank account details registered for your direct deposit. Have your Customer Reference Number (CRN) or Medicare card ready to verify your identity before the call.
For seniors without access to a smartphone or computer, this is the most accessible option. A TTY service is also available for those who are hard of hearing — ask the operator for details when you call.
🏦 4. Bank account statement or online banking
Once Centrelink processes your fortnightly automatic payment, you can verify the credit through your bank’s mobile app, internet banking or at an ATM. The deposit will appear on your bank statement as “CENTRELINK” followed by the payment type and amount. This is the same across all major Australian banks including Commonwealth Bank, ANZ, Westpac a NAB.
If you bank with a credit union or building society, the process is identical — your available balance will reflect the direct deposit by the morning of your payment day. Most institutions also allow you to check your balance for free via phone banking or a mobile app.
Practical tip: set a fortnightly recurring reminder on your phone for the day before your expected payment date so you can plan your grocery shopping, direct debits and bill payments accordingly without having to remember the exact dates each cycle.
