If the new amount is different from what you expected, log into your myGov-konto to review the detailed breakdown before contacting Centrelink. Small differences may be explained by changes in your Rent Assistance, tax deductions or other variable components.
Praktisk tip: keep a simple record of your fortnightly payment amount after each rate change. A small notebook or a note on your phone makes it easy to spot any unexpected variation and provides documentation if you ever need to query a payment with Centrelink.
