SASSA Payment Schedule — April 2026
In April 2026, SASSA will credit grant payments to beneficiaries’ bank accounts, Postbank accounts 그리고 SASSA gold cards according to the official staggered schedule below. Payments are split by grant type to reduce congestion at ATMs and pay points across the country.

Important: the dates above refer to when the automatic payment is processed into your bank account or loaded onto your SASSA gold card. Depending on your bank or retailer, the available balance may reflect on the same day or by the following morning.
🏦 Where can you collect or access your payment?
Once your grant payment is processed, you can access your funds through the following channels:
- Bank account — via your bank’s app, internet banking or ATM if you use direct deposit into a personal account
- Postbank account — at any Post Office branch or Postbank ATM
- SASSA gold card — at Pick n Pay, Shoprite, Checkers, Boxer, USave and other approved retailers, as well as selected ATMs
- Cash send — some beneficiaries without a fixed bank account may receive an SMS with a cash send reference number
Financial planning tip: with your 지불일 confirmed, schedule your essential monthly expenses — rent, electricity, groceries and any bank transfers — in advance. This helps you manage your monthly budget more effectively and avoid unnecessary debt or late payment fees.

You are not required to collect your grant on the exact payment date. Your available balance remains accessible on your Postbank account or SASSA gold card until you use it. Choosing a quieter time to collect — such as mid-morning on a weekday — helps you avoid long queues.
If your banking details have recently changed, confirm with SASSA that your new 계좌번호 is correctly linked to your grant to ensure your direct deposit is not returned or delayed this cycle.
