Centrelink processes Carer Payment direct deposits on various weekdays depending on your personal cycle. Many recipients are paid on Wednesdays or Thursdays, but your specific day may differ. If your scheduled betalingsdatum falls on a public holiday, Centrelink will typically process your automatic payment on the last business day before the holiday so your bank account is credited on time.

The Carer Payment is paid at the same rate as the Age Pension. Your fortnightly direct deposit may include the base payment, Pension Supplement, Energy Supplement and, if eligible, Rent Assistance. You may also receive the Carer Supplement — an annual lump sum paid automatically in July each year to all Carer Payment recipients.
