CPP and OAS payment schedule — annual dates
Serviciul Canada publishes the full annual CPP and OAS payment schedule at the start of each year. Payments are issued on the same fixed dates for both Planul de pensii al Canadei (CPP) şi Securitatea pentru bătrânețe (OAS) and are deposited directly into your cont bancar prin depunere directă on each scheduled date.

Important: if the scheduled date falls on a weekend or public holiday, your depunere directă will be processed on the last business day before that date. Always verify the exact date for each month on the official Service Canada website or through your Contul meu portal.
🏦 How are CPP and OAS payments delivered?
The vast majority of Canadian pensioners receive their beneficiu de pensie prin depunere directă into a personal cont curent sau cont de economii. This is the fastest, safest and most reliable method — funds are available in your cont bancar by the morning of the payment date with no need to visit a branch.
If you still receive your payment by cheque, Service Canada strongly recommends switching to depunere directă to avoid postal delays. You can update your informații bancare at any time through your Contul meu on Canada.ca or by calling 1-800-277-9914.
