💰 What is included in the Carer Payment?
IL Carer Payment is paid at the same rate as the pensione di vecchiaia. Your fortnightly deposito diretto may include the base payment, Pension Supplement, Energy Supplement and, if eligible, Rent Assistance. You may also receive the Carer Supplement — an annual lump sum paid automatically in July each year to all Carer Payment recipients.
In addition to the Carer Payment, many carers also receive the Carer Allowance, which is a separate fortnightly payment that is not income or asset tested. Both payments are deposited into your nominated conto bancario and will appear as separate credits on your estratto conto bancario.
